East Midlands town guide
Nottingham East Midlands Airport is one of the fastest growing regional airports in Britain. As well as a variety of scheduled flights to most parts of Britain and Europe, there are holiday flights to all the major tourist areas of Europe. In the winter there are direct connecting flights to P&O Cruises in the Caribbean.
Nottingham East Midlands Airport as its name suggests is conveniently situated for the city of Nottingham and all the attractions of that vibrant city with reputation for the prettiest girls in England. It is not just Nottingham though that can boast easy access to the Airport, Derby and Leicester also enjoy the same easy access via the Motorway network.
Car hire is easy at the airport with cars located close by the terminal building. By rental car the beautiful Peak District National Park is easy to visit, as are the many other local attractions, including Robin Hood's famous Sherwood Forest. Slightly further away is Alton Towers, Britain's largest theme park.
Even closer to the airport is Donington Park, amajor international Grand Prix Circuit and home to the Donington Grand Prix Collection, the largest collection of Grand Prix cars in the World.
